Get in touch about the games

One email address, read by the person who builds the site. Bug reports and rule corrections are the most useful things you can send.

Before you write

There are no accounts, balances or purchases on this site to enquire about. Coins are free virtual tokens with no cash value, they top up daily, and any game screen resets them to 10,000 instantly.

Where to send it

Write to hello@fernreelguide.com. It is a small project, so a reply usually takes two or three working days, and occasionally longer over the holidays. Every message is read by a person and nothing is passed to a third party.

Reporting a game that misbehaves

Game bugs are worth reporting in detail, because most of them only appear in a particular sequence of moves. The more of this you can include, the faster it gets fixed.

  • Which game, and the page address you were on.
  • What you did, step by step, right before it went wrong.
  • What you expected, and what actually happened on screen.
  • Your browser and device — "Safari on an iPhone" is enough.
  • Whether it happens every time or just once.

A screenshot helps most with layout problems: text overlapping a card, a control off the edge of the screen, a paytable you cannot read on a phone.

Corrections to the rules or the maths

The paytables, the payline shapes, the Klondike move rules and the Hi-Lo multiplier formula are all published on the rules page, and they are meant to match the code exactly. If you find a number on a page that the game does not honour, or a probability we have stated incorrectly, send it through with the working. Corrections like that go to the top of the list.

Accessibility problems

Every control on every game is meant to work from the keyboard, with visible focus, sensible labels and round results announced to screen readers. If something traps your focus, reads out as nonsense or cannot be reached at all, tell us which control and which assistive technology you use.

Things we cannot do

Restore a balance. Coins live only in your browser's local storage. If you clear your site data the record is gone for good, and we have no copy — but the reset control puts you back to 10,000 straight away.

Add coins on request. The top-up is automatic and the reset is always available, so there is nothing for us to grant.

Advise on real-money gambling. We do not review, recommend or comment on casinos, betting sites or lotteries, and we will not link to them.

What happens to your message

Your email address and whatever you write in the message stay in the inbox, and they are used only to answer you. Nothing goes into a mailing list — there isn't one — and nothing is sold or shared. Old correspondence is deleted once the matter is finished with. The privacy policy covers the rest of it, including the fact that the site itself collects nothing about your play.
